Species Range
Bogg's Lake hedge hyssop is found in shallow waters or moist clay soils of vernal pools and lake margins in scattered sites from Modoc County south to Fresno County. One population is known from Lake County, Oregon. South of San Joaquin County, it has not been reported from any valley floor vernal pools, but it does occur in five vernal pools in the Fresno County-Madera County Table Mountain complex near Friant.
As of 1999, 79 occurrences have been documented within 11 California counties, but it is not known how many of these occurrences remain since many were found during surveys in proposed project areas.
